Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- experience in fundraising required
- event planning experience strongly preferred
- some nights and weekends availability required
- valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in nonprofit management, communications or related field
- experience in fundraising
- event planning experience strongly preferred
- relevant sales experience preferred
- strong organizational and project management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

- proficiency with CRM and digital outreach tools preferred

Job Duties
- Plan and implement annual agency events to meet and exceed fundraising and cultivation goals
- manage and organize projects to achieve fundraising and volunteer objectives
- assist in coordination and implementation of the agency’s internal United Way fundraising campaign
- identify, cultivate, solicit and steward corporate sponsors and donors, including in-kind donations
- identify, cultivate and steward volunteers including advisory committees, event volunteers and internal groups
- evaluate and report on successes and challenges of fundraising initiatives and recommend improvements
- serve as liaison to advisory committees and oversee their activities
- maintain accurate data entry for projects and special events
- communicate frequently and consistently with internal and external customers
- demonstrate courtesy, care and professionalism to all customers
- work collaboratively with agency staff and volunteers
- exhibit strong organizational skills and initiative
- maintain punctuality and dependability
- abide by agency policies and procedures
- participate in training and networking opportunities to develop personal and program skills
- contribute to agency committees and quality improvement teams
- create and maintain a dynamic self-care plan
- perform all essential functions on company physical work site
