Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in event planning or nonprofit development required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Must have the ability to drive as required
  • Proficiency with CRM systems preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and able to work collaboratively

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, public relations, or related field preferred
  • Experience in event planning, nonprofit development, corporate relations, or fundraising
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
  • Prior experience with vendor negotiation and event logistics is a plus

Job Duties

  • Assists with development, planning, and implementation of special events and fundraising programs
  • Supports development of event timelines, project plans, and resource allocation
  • Manages relationships with vendors and assists in vendor solicitation and negotiation
  • Participates in event committee meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and distributing documents
  • Provides on-site event and volunteer management and logistical support
  • Assists with event closure activities including evaluations, acknowledgments, and final budgets
  • Supports corporate solicitation processes including mailing sponsorship packages, sending pledge reminders, and managing sponsor stewardship
  • Assists with event auction solicitation and creation of promotional materials
  • Assists with recognition and acknowledgment of donors, sponsors, and volunteers
  • Implements stewardship strategies to enhance donor and corporate supporter engagement
  • Tracks and documents stewardship activities within the CRM system
  • Collaborates on creation of event business and marketing plans, budgets, and financial tracking
  • Supports communication related to event recruitment, promotion, sponsorships, and volunteer management
  • Coordinates production and distribution of event collateral materials
  • Manages business procedures related to in-kind donations, contracts, invoicing, and payments
  • Maintains quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support Development, Corporate Relations, and Donor Relations teams
