Jeremiah Program (JP) is a well-established national organization dedicated to disrupting the cycle of poverty experienced by single mothers and their children. By supporting both a mother’s personal and professional aspirations along with the education of her children, Jeremiah Program creates meaningful change that positively impacts entire families and communities two generations at a time. Job Requirements
- a BA/BS degree in relevant field is strongly preferred
- minimum of 2+ years of experience in development, fundraising or related field is required
- experience in database management, with preference for Salesforce and/or Raiser’s Edge
- experience with social media content and creation
- strong interpersonal, organization and communication skills
- able to work across departments and contribute as a strong team player in a fast-paced environment
- demonstrated ability to meet financial goals
- demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively
- ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
- passion for the Jeremiah Program mission and values
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum two years of development or fundraising experience

Job Duties
- Coordinate campus Annual Fund and fundraising efforts
- represent Jeremiah Program at community events
- assist with planning and logistics for outreach presentations
- provide community tours
- attend networking and professional meetings
- coordinate communication and social media with internal teams
- plan and implement JP events to engage donors and volunteers
- develop creative virtual engagement methods
- collaborate with Family Services to enlist and manage volunteers
- train and report fundraising volunteer engagement
- create positive volunteer experiences
- plan volunteer recognition activities
- leverage volunteers and interns for organizational capacity
- build alliances with community constituencies for in-kind donations
- coordinate reports and donor records with data systems coordinator
- participate in donor cultivation and stewardship
- coordinate production of mailings and appeals
- support planning and execution of signature fundraising events
- serve as liaison for third party fundraising events
- integrate Raiser's Edge in development activities
- maintain donor records in Raiser's Edge
- participate in development events and meetings
- partner with operations and program leaders to meet parent and student needs
- collaborate on Annual Fund initiatives
- coordinate development communication
- maintain communications and appeal calendar
- ensure up-to-date community services information
