Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of three years experience in a non-profit setting
  • proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Virtuous, Raisers Edge
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • availability to work some evenings and weekends
  • valid US driver’s license
  • ability to travel within the Greater Philadelphia area
  • ability to work with diverse populations
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • proficiency in creativity software like Canva

Job Qualifications

  • community outreach and event planning experience

Job Duties

  • Research and identify new revenue sources
  • utilize CRM daily for recording and reporting donor and stewardship efforts
  • work within volunteer database to solicit participation in community-facing events
  • build and preserve positive relationships with sponsors, donors, and volunteers
  • procure donations for events and House families
  • develop new relationships and promote the organization’s mission at community events
  • assist with special initiatives such as marketing, promotional materials, and donor stewardship gifts
  • represent events as necessary
  • write compelling donor appeals and outreach materials
  • recruit, interview, and oversee Teen Leadership Council members
  • moderate Executive Committee meetings
  • oversee annual fundraiser
  • maintain confidentiality of donor information
  • contribute positively to team efforts
  • serve as a role model to council members
