Job Requirements

  • Ability to travel during the year (peak times April - November)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with preferred fields of study in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, public relations, kinesiology, business, or related field
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Ability to lift and move 25 lbs, stand for extended periods of time, and work extended event hours

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with preferred fields of study in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, public relations, kinesiology, business, or related field
  • 1 year professional work experience in business, nonprofit, communications, marketing, sales, or customer service
  • Experience in Microsoft TEAMS, Donor Drive, and Constant Contact a plus
  • Experience in events or public engagement
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • High energy level
  • Ability to work weekends and nights as needed
  • Ability to handle highly stressful situations with composure and foresight

Job Duties

  • Assist in the management of TEAM IMF and maintenance of the team roster
  • Manage IRONMAN Foundation apparel and kit inventory
  • Manage the fulfillment of athlete kits and shipments
  • Provide support for IMF special events and development projects
  • Provide administrative support to the Development Manager
  • Work directly with Athlete Services for TEAM IMF race registrations
  • Provide support for TEAM IMF fundraising, including monitoring and outreach
  • Provide support for the creation and maintenance of IMF fundraising campaigns
  • Collaborate and provide administrative support on additional IMF projects as assigned
  • Represent IMF at key IRONMAN events over the course of the triathlon season
  • Assist in coordination of off-site events
