Job Requirements
- must be located in Milwaukee or Pewaukee area
- ability to travel 25 percent in and out of state
- ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- excellent communication skills
- detail-oriented
- able to work independently with little supervision
- knowledge of Microsoft Office
- experience in nonprofit or related field preferred
- physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- ability to read and write reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively in groups
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 or more years of experience in administrative support event planning or volunteer management
- passion for serving military families veterans first responders
- ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- adaptability in fast-paced environments
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- problem-solving and decision-making skills
- experience with CRM or database software a plus
- expert knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Word
- willingness to travel in and out of state
Job Duties
- Oversee compliance with national standards and local regulations
- coordinate communications and reporting with National Folds of Honor
- attend and document Wisconsin Chapter Board meetings
- provide accounting support including donor invoicing and acknowledgements
- assist with invitations and special mailings
- maintain chapter inventory of supplies and merchandise
- manage donor database and create fundraising reports
- support donor prospect development
- lead volunteer initiatives and coordinate volunteer activities
- collaborate with team to ensure event volunteer support
- develop and implement marketing strategies
- create content for media platforms
- manage social media presence
- develop quarterly donor newsletters
- coordinate with local media and partners for promotions
- ensure brand consistency in marketing materials
