Job Requirements

  • Ability to be associated with Casa de Amparo through Community Care Licensing including clearance by FBI, DOJ and CACI
  • minimum of two years experience in nonprofit development or fundraising
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • experience with donor management software preferred
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting
  • reliable personal transportation
  • flexibility to work evenings or weekends
  • meet agency insurance requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years in a nonprofit development or fundraising setting
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • experience with Donor Perfect CRM and Greater Giving event software preferred
  • strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to think tactically and proactively solve problems
  • demonstrated professionalism in donor, volunteer, and staff interactions
  • fundraising experience or relevant education preferred
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • possess reliable personal transportation and meet insurance requirements
  • flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends

Job Duties

  • Record and maintain accurate donation records in donor perfect
  • prepare timely donor acknowledgments
  • serve as first point of contact for donor and in-kind donation inquiries
  • coordinate in-kind donation logistics including intake, documentation, storage, inventory tracking, and distribution
  • maintain donor database and update in-kind item wish lists
  • reconcile donor and gift reports with accounting
  • provide administrative and logistical support to the development team
  • coordinate recurring in-kind partnerships
  • research and solicit in-kind and event donations from individuals and businesses
  • generate donor and mailing lists
  • attend and support department meetings
  • co-lead holiday donation drive
  • coordinate ongoing in-kind donation drives and storage inventory
  • coordinate donor recognition items
  • support special event logistics including administrative and volunteer needs
  • provide reception backup
