Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
  • Capability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently
  • Medium strength to lift 1-30 pounds
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in detail shops or buffing helpful
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to safely drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmissions
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
  • Physical ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently
  • Medium strength capability to lift 1-30 pounds
  • Good manual dexterity with repetitive motions
  • Vision abilities including close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment

Job Duties

  • Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles by removing any debris and trash from ashtrays, console, dashboard, door panels, seats, trunk, and engine compartment
  • Remove license plates and stickers and disassemble spare tires in trunk
  • Wash vehicles using high-pressure washers or automatic car wash equipment and apply chemicals to clean engine compartments and battery terminals
  • Clean doorjambs, sills, interior panels, wheels, tires, hubcaps, wheel wells, moldings, bumpers, lights, exterior panels, trunk, hood, and windows
  • Detail vehicles by cleaning and dressing trims, moldings, weather stripping, instrument panels, steering wheels, and dashboards
  • Buff vehicles by applying dressing to engine compartments, wheels, tires, and vinyl tops, and polish interiors with compounds and buffers
  • Vacuum interiors, scrub, shampoo and spot clean carpets and upholstery, and straighten seatbelts
  • Ensure glove boxes are organized with warranty booklets and manufacturer information
  • Follow all safety and health procedures actively participating in safety activities
  • Perform other duties including driving vehicles into the building and staging areas as directed
