Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Less than 2 years of experience in a related field generally
- Previous detail shop or buffing experience helpful
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, talk, and hear regularly
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, squat, and climb frequently
- Medium strength with ability to lift 1-30 pounds
- Manual dexterity and capability for repetitive motion tasks
- Vision abilities including close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Job Duties
- Clean out and de-trash interior of vehicles including ashtrays, console, dashboard, door panels, seats, trunk, and engine compartment
- Remove license plates and stickers not pertinent to Auction business and disassemble spare tires in trunk
- Wash vehicles using high-pressure washers or automatic car wash equipment and apply chemicals as needed
- Clean doorjambs, sills, interior panels, wheels, tires, bumpers, headlights, taillights, exterior panels, trunk, hood, and windows thoroughly
- Detail vehicles by cleaning and dressing trim, molding, weather stripping, instrument panel, steering wheel, dash molding, using detail brushes
- Buff vehicles by applying dressings and compounds to engine compartments, wheels, tires, and vinyl tops, waxing and buffing exterior painted surfaces
- Vacuum interiors, scrub, shampoo, and spot clean carpets and upholstery, straighten seatbelts
- Clean glove box and ensure return of warranty booklets, owner’s manuals, and manufacturer information
- Demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and participate in safety activities
- Perform additional duties as assigned including driving vehicles to proper clean car staging areas or occasional sale day driving
