Job Requirements

  • experience in hospitality or tourism services, solid knowledge of Boston, excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to work independently, excellent professionalism and responsiveness, exceptional problem solving skills, college degree preferred

Job Qualifications

  • experience in hospitality or tourism services, solid working knowledge of Boston and passion for hospitality, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational and time management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products preferred, additional training and certification in sales or meetings/events planning considered an advantage, college degree preferred, exceptional problem solving skills, customer-first attitude

Job Duties

  • distributing service requests through the Meet Boston lead system, retrieving RFPs via CVENT and MeetBoston.com, conducting personalized and efficient site tours of Boston to assist planners, providing groups with publications and promotional materials, working with city officials on welcome letters and permits, providing information on advertising and marketing opportunities, researching and providing information on CSR programs, performing additional services as requested by clients
