Job Requirements
- Be of legal age to sell and/or serve alcohol per state and/or local laws
- Complete or be in process of completing management certification program
- SDS trained
- Obtain food handlers card where applicable
- Obtain ServSafe Food Manager Certification
- Review and understand the Regal Operations Manual
- Read and understand training materials such as sexual harassment and discrimination
- Able to stand for extended periods, walk, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform physical tasks
- Provide reasonable accommodations when applicable
- Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance
Job Qualifications
- Degree in business or equivalent
- Two years management or supervisory experience in restaurant or VIP/luxury theatre concept
- Experience in high volume hospitality environment
- Knowledge of food safety rules and health department regulations
- Proficient in theater projection and sound technology
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train and develop staff
- Public speaking skills
- Computer proficiency including email, word processing, and spreadsheets
- Ability to problem solve and perform under pressure
- Knowledge of alcohol service laws and responsible beverage server training
Job Duties
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Must be of legal age to sell and/or serve alcohol per state and/or local laws
- Uphold and administer all Regal policies and brand standards as outlined in the Regal Operations Manual and corporate directives
- Ensure all cash management policies and procedures are adhered to always
- Monitor risk management as it pertains to the theatre including employee/guest safety, loss prevention, proper handling of food and alcohol, emergency situations, and accident reporting and investigations
- Comply with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standards and adhere to Health Department regulations
- Hire, train, develop, mentor, supervise, counsel, schedule, and terminate employees as needed
- Train staff including servers, box office personnel, food runners, bartenders, and kitchen staff with cross-training as needed
- Maintain projection and sound technology to ensure impeccable guest experiences
- Ensure facilities are cleaned and maintained consistent with company standards
- Direct kitchen and bar maintenance and sanitation programs
- Optimize profits by controlling payroll, cost of goods, and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory and order supplies to meet demand
- Create staff schedules to balance demand and labor costs
- Conduct daily theatre inspections and kitchen logs
- Ensure food and beverage preparation adheres to company recipes and standards
- Manage guest relations, marketing, and promotions of film engagements
- Respond personally to guest inquiries and complaints
- Count, deposit, and reconcile daily receipts
- Maintain compliance with all required certifications and training
- Perform physical tasks as required to fulfill job duties
