Job Requirements
- Minimum of five years of relevant management experience
- Possession of or ability to obtain a Tier 3 Background Investigation (ANACI) Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must complete Declaration of Federal Employment (OF306) and required paperwork for background investigation
- Ability to communicate effectively with military and civilian personnel
- Willingness to comply with drug-free workplace standards
- Must be able to obtain and maintain secret level security clearance
- Ability to handle sensitive and sometimes confidential matters appropriately
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years' experience in management principles including planning, coordinating, and achieving financial and organizational goals
- Thorough knowledge of business practices and economic principles
- Ability to analyze trends and develop improvements in operations
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Above average oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with high-ranking military officials and various leadership levels
- Knowledge of Marine Corps staff procedures and organizational structure desired
Job Duties
- Serve as technical and administrative supervisor on Quality of Life programs and their support functions
- Provide leadership, supervision, and coordination across all MCCS functions at MCAS Yuma
- Assist in developing operational strategies and ensure policy and procedural compliance
- Review budget execution for appropriated and non-appropriated funds
- Resolve internal and external operational problems
- Provide guidance to MCCS division directors and managers
- Represent MCCS to other organizations and handle community engagement
- Appraise work performance and approve personnel actions
- Oversee internal controls and security of resources
- Develop long-range plans and implement anti-terrorism and force-protection programs
- Ensure compliance with preventative medicine, fire safety, and environmental programs
- Manage property resources and facility improvements
- Communicate with military and civilian leaders and external agencies
