Job Duties
- Champion company and division customer service programs to meet or exceed customer service goals
- handle customer relations in a positive manner including effective resolution of complaints
- fulfill customer orders by preparing specialty drinks and stocking pastry and display cases
- order, receive, stock, display, and rotate products ensuring compliance with quality and inventory standards
- maintain and clean all production equipment
- operate checkstand equipment and monitor cash handling procedures
- assist customers with product questions and orders
- liaise with vendors to ensure compliance
- supervise, motivate, train, and participate in hiring coffee bar personnel
- schedule personnel to ensure adequate coverage and meet budgetary goals
- supervise day-to-day coffee bar functions to achieve service and sales objectives
- conduct daily inspections and initiate corrective measures for stock, sanitation, safety, and security
- assist with cleaning, stocking, storage, and customer service duties
- implement promotional and seasonal displays
- control shrink and expenses and complete required paperwork and logs
- maintain and organize work, sales areas, backroom, cooler, and freezer
- ensure proper merchandising and signing procedures
- follow company and vendor policies on pricing and handling reduced items
- answer and respond to incoming calls and resolve customer complaints
- train and instruct associates in proper work duties and conduct weekly sales meetings
- monitor and report associate performance and complaints to store director
- maintain confidentiality regarding associates and company information
- perform all duties safely, accurately, and with integrity
