Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years management experience in restaurant or hospitality
  • knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to handle fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in computer and point of sale systems

Job Qualifications

  • previous management experience in hospitality or restaurant industry preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to analyze financial and operational data
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • experience with inventory management

Job Duties

  • Manage staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development of department team members
  • maintain department training certification through WCT training
  • create action and development plans for direct reports
  • coordinate with other managers to ensure growth opportunities for team members
  • create weekly schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
  • develop and implement incentive programs and contests
  • provide regular performance feedback including appraisals and merit increase administration
  • assist General Manager with coaching managers on performance management
  • oversee MIT training and scheduling
  • utilize World Wide Wings support teams as needed
  • provide coaching and follow up to ensure execution of service standards and guest experience
  • conduct departmental meetings to communicate updates and opportunities
  • ensure all team members have required training and permits
  • attract new guests through innovative techniques
  • manage guest comment program and handle food quality complaints
  • utilize Guest Experience Management program for feedback and improvements
  • ensure adherence to food product rollouts and recipe standards
  • communicate with food and alcohol vendors to ensure quality and timely deliveries
  • manage inventory accuracy and ordering
  • analyze restaurant performance metrics and implement action plans
  • conduct administrative functions including invoicing and end of day procedures
  • monitor and report equipment repair needs
  • operate department in compliance with health and safety standards
  • manage bar product promotions and beverage costs
  • create and implement sales incentive contests
  • assist in local restaurant marketing program execution
  • complete all other assigned duties
