Job Requirements
- high school education or equivalent
- minimum 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
- completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
- valid driver's license to travel between units
- ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
- satisfactory background check
- strong organizational skills
- professional written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work irregular hours including nights weekends and holidays
- ability to maintain confidential information and enforce company compliance
- experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred

Job Duties
- directly responsible for staffing succession planning recruiting interviewing hiring orientation training and ongoing development of department team members
- responsible for department team training and maintaining department training certification
- develops direct reports through action and development plans
- coordinates with other managers on hiring to ensure growth opportunities
- creates weekly department schedules within labor budget
- develops and implements incentive programs and contests
- provides regular performance feedback and timely performance appraisals
- administers merit increase process
- assists general manager with coaching other managers
- oversees manager-in-training programs
- provides coaching to ensure service standards and guest experience
- holds departmental meetings for communication
- ensures all team members have current state required training and permits
- identifies techniques to attract new guests
- manages guest comment program and food quality complaints
- utilizes guest experience management program for feedback
- facilitates adherence to new food product rollouts
- ensures team members meet serving quality and recipe adherence standards
- communicates with food vendors and holds them accountable
- ensures menu specs and department systems are utilized
- helps general manager coach on quality service cleanliness and inventory
- analyzes restaurant performance tools and troubleshoots issues
- conducts administrative manager functions
- monitors department equipment and reports repairs
- operates in compliance with health and food safety standards
- corrects health and safety issues immediately
- facilitates adherence to bar product and promotion rollouts
- communicates with beer and alcohol vendors
- ensures menu specs and bar systems are utilized
- troubleshoots problem areas based on restaurant performance data
- conducts administrative manager functions as needed
- ensures all bar equipment functions properly
- manages overall food cost within variances
- maintains proper inventory levels
- establishes sales projections
- understands P&L statements and creates action plans
- ensures bar cost tools are effectively used
- manages bar cost and labor results
- controls waste comps voids and discounts
- creates bar sales building contests
- assists with local restaurant marketing programs
