  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification
  • Availability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Willingness to be on call 24 hours a day and work 50 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a full bar preferred
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program

Job Duties

  • Manage staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development of department team members
  • Maintain department training and store certification
  • Develop individual action plans for direct reports
  • Coordinate hiring with other departments to promote growth opportunities
  • Create weekly schedules within labor budgets balancing team and business needs
  • Implement incentive programs and contests to motivate team members
  • Provide regular performance feedback and conduct timely appraisals
  • Administer semi-annual merit increases
  • Coach managers on performance management
  • Oversee MIT training
  • Assist General Manager with performance management of other managers
  • Use company support teams and experts as needed
  • Coach direct reports on service standards and guest experience
  • Conduct departmental meetings
  • Ensure all team members maintain current state training and permits
  • Identify and implement guest attraction techniques
  • Manage restaurant guest comment program and food quality complaints
  • Utilize Guest Experience Management program to improve guest satisfaction
  • Facilitate adherence to new food and bar product rollouts
  • Ensure team adheres to quality product, recipe, and portioning standards
  • Communicate with food and alcohol vendors for quality and timely delivery
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
  • Analyze restaurant performance tools and implement action plans
  • Conduct administrative functions like entering invoices and inventory
  • Monitor and report equipment maintenance
  • Manage food and labor costs within company standards
  • Order and maintain inventory levels of food, paper, and alcohol products
  • Create sales and profit projections and action plans
  • Implement bar sales incentives
  • Support local restaurant marketing and sales initiatives
  • Perform all other assigned duties
