Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Preferred experience managing a restaurant with a full bar
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Proficient with basic math computations
  • Knowledge of food safety and Alcohol Service compliance
  • Experience using restaurant performance management tools
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program

Job Duties

  • Staffing and succession planning for department team members
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and orienting new team members
  • Training and ongoing development of department staff
  • Maintaining department staffing at or above guidelines
  • Managing WCT training and maintaining department certification
  • Developing and implementing incentive programs and contests
  • Providing regular performance feedback and conducting appraisals
  • Administering merit increase processes
  • Coaching and supporting direct reports on service standards and guest experience
  • Holding departmental meetings to communicate updates and successes
  • Ensuring compliance with state-required training and permits
  • Managing guest comment and complaint resolution
  • Facilitating adherence to food and drink product rollouts
  • Monitoring food quality, recipe adherence, and portioning
  • Communicating with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery
  • Utilizing restaurant performance tools to identify and resolve problems
  • Conducting administrative tasks such as inventory, invoicing, and end-of-day procedures
  • Monitoring equipment functionality and coordinating repairs
  • Operating within Board of Health and food safety regulations
  • Managing food cost and labor within company guidelines
  • Ordering and maintaining inventory for food, beverages, and supplies
  • Creating daily and quarterly sales and labor projections
  • Managing bar operations including cost control, inventory, and compliance
  • Implementing bar sales incentive programs
  • Assisting with local restaurant marketing and sales building contests
