Job Duties

  • Directly responsible for staffing recruitment orientation and training
  • maintaining department team at or above staffing guidelines
  • managing WCT training and keeping department training certified
  • developing action plans for direct reports
  • coordinating hiring decisions with other departments
  • creating weekly department schedules within labor budgets
  • developing incentive programs and contests
  • providing regular performance feedback and conducting appraisals
  • administering semi-annual merit increases
  • assisting General Manager with coaching managers
  • overseeing MIT training weeks
  • supporting performance management of Bar Hospitality and Assistant Managers
  • utilizing company support teams and subject matter experts
  • ensuring execution of service standards and guest experience
  • holding departmental meetings to communicate updates and opportunities
  • ensuring all team members have current state training and permits
  • identifying techniques to attract new guests
  • managing Guest Comment program and handling food quality complaints
  • using Guest Experience Management program to enhance satisfaction
  • facilitating adherence to food product rollouts
  • ensuring staff meet quality recipe and portioning standards
  • managing vendor relationships and food delivery timelines
  • ensuring menu specifications and systems adherence
  • coaching managers and team on quality service cleanliness and inventory standards
  • analyzing restaurant performance metrics and trouble-shooting issues
  • conducting administrative manager functions including invoicing inventory and end of day tasks
  • monitoring and reporting equipment repair needs
  • enforcing Board of Health and food safety practices
  • correcting food safety and Steritech issues immediately
  • facilitating bar product and promotion rollouts
  • managing bar inventory and cost controls
  • creating bar sales incentive contests
  • assisting in local restaurant marketing initiatives
  • completing all assigned duties and tasks
