  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program

Job Duties

  • Staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development of Department Team Members
  • Maintaining department training store certification
  • Developing direct reports by creating action/development plans
  • Coordinating with other Department Managers on hiring decisions
  • Creating weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
  • Developing and implementing incentive programs and contests for department
  • Providing regular performance feedback and performance appraisals
  • Administering semi-annual merit increase process
  • Assisting General Manager with coaching other managers
  • Overseeing MIT training and scheduling
  • Assisting GM with performance management of Bar, Hospitality and Assistant Managers
  • Utilizing support teams and subject matter experts
  • Coaching direct reports on service standards and guest experience
  • Holding departmental meetings to communicate updates
  • Ensuring all Team Members have current required training and permits
  • Identifying techniques to attract new guests
  • Managing the restaurant's Guest Comment program and handling food quality complaints
  • Utilizing Guest Experience Management program
  • Facilitating adherence to food product and bar product rollouts
  • Managing food and beverage vendor communications
  • Ensuring recipe and system adherence in kitchen and bar departments
  • Monitoring equipment and coordinating repairs
  • Ensuring compliance with Board of Health and food safety practices
  • Operating administrative functions such as invoicing and inventory
  • Managing food cost, labor results, and inventory accuracy
  • Creating sales and profit projections
  • Troubleshooting performance issues and creating action plans
  • Developing and implementing bar sales incentive contests
  • Assisting with local restaurant marketing programs
  • Completing all assigned duties
