  • Willingness to perform a variety of duties as assigned
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • Strong organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training and ongoing development of Department Team Members
  • Responsible for WCT training and maintaining department store certification
  • Develops direct reports by creating action and development plans
  • Coordinates with other Department Managers on hiring decisions
  • Creates weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
  • Develops and implements incentive programs and contests
  • Provides regular performance feedback and administers merit increase process
  • Coaches other managers on performance management
  • Oversees MIT training
  • Assists General Manager with performance management of managers
  • Utilizes World Wide Wings support teams when necessary
  • Provides coaching to ensure service standards
  • Holds departmental meetings to communicate successes and opportunities
  • Ensures all Team Members have current state required training and permits
  • Identifies techniques to attract new guests
  • Manages Guest Comment program and handles food quality complaints
  • Utilizes Guest Experience Management program to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Facilitates adherence to new food product rollouts
  • Ensures Team Members meet standards for product quality
  • Communicates with food vendors for quality and timely delivery
  • Ensures adherence to menu specs and departmental systems
  • Helps General Manager coach staff on quality, service, cleanliness and inventory
  • Analyzes restaurant performance tools and implements action plans
  • Conducts administrative manager functions
  • Monitors department equipment and reports repair needs
  • Ensures compliance with health and food safety standards
  • Facilitates and oversees bar product and promotion rollouts
  • Manages bar inventory and costs
  • Monitors bar equipment functionality
  • Understands sales and profit goals and troubleshoots issues
  • Aggressively manages waste, comps, voids and discounts
  • Creates bar sales incentive contests
  • Assists with execution of Local Restaurant Marketing program
  • Completes assigned duties and tasks
