  • Preferred experience managing a restaurant with a full bar
  • Completion of high school or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Satisfactory background check
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to be on-call 24 hours a day and work up to 50 hours a week

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program
  • Minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Manage staffing, succession planning, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, training, and ongoing development of department team members
  • Maintain department training certification and conduct WCT training
  • Develop direct reports with action/development plans
  • Coordinate hiring with other department managers to promote growth opportunities
  • Create weekly department schedules within budgeted labor guidelines
  • Develop and implement incentive programs and contests for the department
  • Provide regular performance feedback, including performance appraisals
  • Administer semi-annual merit increase process
  • Assist General Manager with coaching and managing other managers
  • Oversee MIT training and ensure proper scheduling of training modules
  • Utilize company support teams and subject matter experts as needed
  • Coach and follow up with direct reports to ensure execution of service standards and guest experience
  • Hold departmental meetings to communicate successes, procedures, and areas for improvement
  • Ensure department team members have current state required training and permits
  • Identify techniques to attract new guests
  • Manage the restaurant's Guest Comment program and handle food quality guest complaints
  • Utilize Guest Experience Management (GEM) program for feedback and adjustments
  • Facilitate and ensure adherence to new food product rollouts
  • Ensure team members meet quality, recipe, and portioning standards
  • Communicate with food vendors and hold them accountable
  • Monitor adherence to menu specs, wall charts, and department systems
  • Analyze restaurant performance tools (GEM, QSCs, audits, P&L) and create action plans
  • Conduct administrative manager functions including inventory and end-of-day procedures
  • Monitor and report equipment repair needs and follow up
  • Operate department consistent with Board of Health and food safety practices
  • Correct BOH and Steritech issues immediately
  • Facilitate new bar product/promotions
  • Communicate with beer and alcohol vendors and hold them accountable
  • Ensure bar systems and specs are used and adhered to
  • Manage bar department costs, inventory, and labor results
  • Order all food, paper, and beverage products
  • Maintain proper inventory and accurate inventories
  • Establish sales projections
  • Create and implement sales building incentives
  • Assist General Manager with Local Restaurant Marketing program
  • Complete all assigned duties or tasks
