  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to be on-call 24 hours and work 50 hours per week

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years restaurant or retail management experience
  • Experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Completion of Buffalo Wild Wings Management Certification program

Job Duties

  • Staffing and succession planning for department team members
  • Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orientation, and training department team members
  • Maintaining department staffing at or above guidelines
  • Conducting WCT training and ensuring training store certification
  • Developing direct reports with action and development plans
  • Coordinating hiring decisions with other departments
  • Creating weekly department schedules within labor budgets
  • Implementing incentive programs and contests
  • Providing regular performance feedback and performance appraisals
  • Administering semi-annual merit increases
  • Assisting General Manager with coaching managers
  • Overseeing MIT training during training weeks
  • Providing performance management and development of Bar, Hospitality, and Assistant Managers
  • Utilizing support teams and subject matter experts
  • Coaching and following up to ensure service standards and guest experience
  • Holding timely departmental meetings and communication
  • Ensuring team members have required training and permits
  • Identifying techniques to attract new guests
  • Managing guest comment program and handling food quality complaints
  • Using GEM program to provide feedback and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Facilitating adherence to new food product rollouts
  • Ensuring team meets standards for product quality, recipe adherence, and portioning
  • Communicating with food and alcohol vendors for quality and delivery
  • Ensuring menu specifications and department systems adherence
  • Teaching and coaching on quality, service, cleanliness, and inventory
  • Analyzing performance metrics, creating action plans, and following up
  • Conducting administrative functions like invoices and inventory
  • Monitoring department equipment and reporting repairs
  • Operating within Board of Health and food safety standards
  • Correcting BOH and Steritech issues immediately
  • Facilitating adherence to new bar product rollouts and promotions
  • Managing bar cost tools and liquor inventory
  • Troubleshooting sales and profit goals
  • Managing waste, comps, voids, and discounts
  • Creating bar sales incentives contests
  • Assisting with local restaurant marketing and sales incentives
  • Completing assigned duties and tasks
