Job Requirements

  • Completion of high school education or equivalent
  • minimum 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • possess proper food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
  • valid driver's license
  • ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • satisfactory background check
  • knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation
  • experience managing a restaurant with a full bar preferred
  • highly motivated, self-directed and results driven
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • professional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to create an engaging environment for guests and team members
  • maintain confidential information and enforce compliance
  • willingness to travel between store units

Job Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years restaurant or retail management experience
  • experience managing a restaurant with a full bar is preferred
  • knowledge of labor laws, health codes, food handling, sanitation, alcohol service, safety systems and procedures
  • must possess required food handler and alcohol dispensing certifications
  • highly motivated, self-directed and results driven with strong organizational skills
  • professional written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to create a fun and exciting environment
  • skilled with basic mathematical computations
  • proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
  • maintain confidentiality and adherence to company policies
  • valid driver's license and satisfactory background check

Job Duties

  • Source and recruit key talent for all business areas
  • conduct interviews of walk-in candidates and support orientations for new team members
  • ensure execution of company training and development programs including hourly team member and manager in training programs
  • plan and lead shift meetings, build camaraderie and solicit feedback
  • participate in weekly manager meetings
  • provide shift-by-shift coaching and counseling to team members with guidance from higher management
  • keep supervisors informed of employee relations issues including discrimination or harassment
  • create and execute self-development plans using company training
  • ensure compliance with wage and labor laws
  • focus on team member and guest safety by enforcing safety protocols and training
  • verify all team members have required permits, training and certifications
  • maintain current and accurate payroll and personnel records
  • manage shift labor to match business demands while avoiding overtime
  • engage actively in store operations supporting guest service
  • safeguard restaurant assets
  • understand and execute new product and marketing promotions
  • manage shifts to achieve sales and profit goals including labor and food cost management and expense control
