Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Graduate of formal training program in medical reception or equivalent
- Two years experience as medical or dental receptionist or insurance processing
- Two years customer service experience
- One year experience using PC-based data entry and lookup
- One year recent customer service experience via phone or in person
- Demonstrated ability to organize work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and interruptions
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills

Job Duties
- Interact professionally with patients and customers in person and by phone
- Provide accurate information about clinic operations and company policies
- Schedule patient appointments efficiently while coordinating multiple providers
- Contact patients to confirm and fill open appointment slots
- Review and update patient records and insurance information
- Collect payments and establish payment plans in accordance with guidelines
- Collaborate with coworkers to share tasks and assist with workload balancing
- Perform backup functions for other dental clerical roles
- Collect data and prepare reports as required
- Undertake additional duties as assigned to support clinic needs
