Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years customer service experience preferred
- Post-secondary coursework desirable or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medical or dental clinic or healthcare experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance procedures
- Ability to demonstrate care advocacy knowledge through electronic exam
- Ability to present case studies to Managing Doctor and Practice Manager
- Reliable and predictable attendance
- Flexibility to travel to other locations within reasonable range
- Strict adherence to PPE policies
- Physical ability to sit stand walk bend stoop and carry light items
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

- Medical or dental clinic experience highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance procedures
- Ability to demonstrate educational requirements regarding care advocacy
- Able to present care advocacy cases to Managing Doctor and Practice Manager
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with clinical teams
- Proficiency with computer and standard office equipment
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Job Duties
- Oversee the daily schedule seeking opportunities to maximize scheduling efficiencies
- Maintain awareness of schedule changes and promptly identify and correct scheduling errors
- Understand payment methods and communicate fee requirements to patients
- Collect and document payments for dental services
- Accurately balance daily payment ledger and reconcile payments
- Properly complete financial forms and make timely bank deposits
- Update patient cards confirm and verify insurance information
- Schedule treatment as directed by clinicians
- Ensure charts are organized prepared and available for patient appointments
- Perform chart maintenance and prepare new patient charts according to guidelines
- Build rapport with patients providing thorough information and addressing questions or concerns
- Provide Statement of Services at each visit
- Open and close clinic and keep reception area neat and clean
- Partner with clinical team to enhance understanding of dental procedures treatment series and interventions
- Reiterate provider's communication directives to patients
- Triage incoming emergency and unplanned treatment calls
- Schedule and reinforce recalls referrals to internal and external providers
- Adhere strictly to personal protective equipment policies
- Travel to other locations as needed based on business needs
- Maintain reliable and predictable attendance
