- experience with dental practice management software
- proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office applications
- knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures
Job Duties
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming professional environment
- schedule and confirm appointments and manage provider calendars
- answer phone calls respond to inquiries and manage patient communication
- verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
- process payments handle billing and maintain accurate financial records
- maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
- coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
- ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
