Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous dental front office and treatment coordinating experience

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of previous dental front office and treatment coordinating experience
  • Knowledge of Dentrix is preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Experience with dental practice management software
  • Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

Job Duties

  • Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, manage provider calendars
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage patient communication
  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary pre-authorizations
  • Process payments, handle billing, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
  • Coordinate patient flow and assist with administrative support as needed
  • Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Present and schedule proposed dental treatment to patients and answer questions regarding procedures, timelines and fees
  • Follow up with patients on pending or incomplete treatment plans to ensure they understand the value and timing of care
