Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- bilingual/biliterate English/Spanish
- willingness to obtain CPR/BLS certification if not already certified
- one year of front desk receptionist experience preferred
- one year of experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
- excellent customer service skills
- computer literacy in a Windows-based environment
- ability to work with diverse populations
- commitment to organizational philosophy and goals
- up to date with COVID-19 vaccines per CDC guidelines recommended
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Dental reception/patient check-in/out duties
- ensuring individuals are properly screened for infectious disease during the COVID-19 pandemic
- ensuring everyone utilizes personal protective equipment/masks
- greeting patients and visitors courteously
- answering phones, providing information, taking messages, and directing calls
- checking patients in, updating information, and verifying insurance eligibility
- scheduling and confirming appointments
- following up with patients who have missed appointments and rescheduling
- posting patient payments and printing information as needed
- maintaining the lobby in an orderly manner
- assisting with various administrative functions as time permits
- participating in health promotion and disease prevention activities
- participating in quality improvement programs
- performing other related or necessary tasks as directed by a supervisor
- other duties as assigned
