Job Requirements

  • One year experience in dental front office
  • Knowledge of Medicaid/Chip and PPO insurance is a plus
  • Bilingual preferred but not required
  • Must be able to communicate face to face, through email, and phone
  • Must be team-oriented and willing to collaborate with others
  • Must have high energy and great customer service skills
  • Ability to commute to both Terrell and Kaufman locations
  • Availability for two Saturdays a month

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Check-in/check-out patients with great customer service and a positive attitude
  • Ensure accurate entry of patient information and obtain copies of insurance cards
  • Collect payments as required and schedule follow-up appointments
  • Conduct initial audits
  • Schedule patient appointments correctly and communicate effectively
  • Manage medical records ensuring all records and consent forms are completed
  • Call patients with insurance estimates and verify insurance benefits when necessary
  • Complete data reporting in a timely manner
  • Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls
  • Present treatment plans and charges efficiently and effectively
  • Answer insurance and finance questions related to treatment plans
  • Close cases with high ability
