Job Duties
- Prepares patients for dental procedures
- Assists Dentist during dental procedures
- Sterilizes or disinfects instruments, sets up instrument trays and prepares materials
- Records treatment information in patient records
- Provides postoperative instructions prescribed by dentist
- Assists dentist in the management of medical or dental emergencies
- Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs
