Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years culinary experience or equivalent education and experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Must be able to interact with guests and resolve conflicts tactfully
- Must qualify for required licenses and permits
- Must obtain ServSafe certification
- Must complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification
Job Qualifications

- Supervisory experience preferred

- Strong mathematical skills including computation of rates, ratios, and interpretation of bar graphs
- Ability to interact with guests and staff diplomatically

Job Duties
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to buffet department staff
- Support and administer operational goals
- Monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Coordinate scheduling and address scheduling concerns
- Administer all aspects of food preparation
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and stock levels
- Support compliance to departmental budgets
- Promote and demonstrate superior customer service
- Maintain cost control procedures and inventory
- Assist Sous Chef with administrative duties
- Maintain quality assurance and health standards
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Address customer service issues as they arise
- Maintain strict confidentiality in departmental matters
