Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years culinary experience or equivalent
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Ability to write reports and correspondence
  • Ability to present information effectively
  • Strong mathematical computation and interpretation skills
  • Ability to interact and resolve conflicts tactfully
  • Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in confined spaces

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide guidance and daily supervision to kitchen staff
  • Support and administer operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
  • Coordinate scheduling and address any concerns with management focused on guest satisfaction
  • Manage all aspects of food preparation ensuring kitchen cleanliness and stock
  • Support compliance to departmental budgets
  • Promote and demonstrate superior customer service according to standards
  • Monitor cost control methods and inventory pars
  • Assist Sous Chef with administrative duties
  • Maintain quality assurance procedures for health department and service standards
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and report issues
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters
