Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum two years culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to perform basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically
- Physical ability to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters

Job Duties
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department
- Support and administer operational goals and monitor achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager any scheduling concerns with attention to guest satisfaction
- Administer all aspects of food preparation ensuring kitchen is clean, well-stocked and problem-free
- Support compliance to departmental budgets
- Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards
- Maintain cost control methods and procedures by monitoring consistent pars and inventory in each restaurant
- Assist Sous Chef with administrative duties
- Maintain established quality assurance procedures to ensure acceptable health department and customer service standards
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
