Job Requirements

  • Must be interested in becoming a Class A Driver at McLane
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years)
  • DOT physical
  • Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Must be interested in becoming a Class A Driver at McLane
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years)
  • DOT physical
  • Ability to lift and move product and packages weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Preferred commercial driving experience
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Load and unload products at customer sites using a dolly or hand truck if needed
  • Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues
  • Perform warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries
  • Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to build trust and provide excellent customer service
  • Operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with company policies
  • Maintain accurate and timely delivery schedules
