Job Requirements
- Must be interested in becoming a Class A Driver at McLane
- At least 21 years of age
- Current driver’s license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years)
- DOT physical
- Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Must be interested in becoming a Class A Driver at McLane
- At least 21 years of age
- Current driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years)
- DOT physical
- Ability to lift and move product and packages weighing up to 75 pounds
- Preferred commercial driving experience
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Load and unload products at customer sites using a dolly or hand truck if needed
- Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues
- Perform warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries
- Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products
- Develop strong relationships with customers to build trust and provide excellent customer service
- Operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle safely and in compliance with company policies
- Maintain accurate and timely delivery schedules
