Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads up to 165 lbs depending on route
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must adhere to safety and company policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Ability to operate pallet jack, lift gate, and commercial truck
- Ability to organize workload and perform basic math
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to supervise and mentor delivery assistant
- Must have valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- Class A CDL license
- Previous commercial driving experience
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to perform physically demanding work daily and work in extreme weather conditions
- Previous distribution business experience preferred
- Intrastate driving experience preferred
- Good communication skills preferred
- Prior beer industry experience preferred
- Experience in CPG or sales preferred
- Previous physically demanding work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Completes deliveries to all scheduled accounts per delivery service guidelines while adhering to federal, state, and local regulations
- Unloads, loads, and moves product using appropriate equipment while maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Stocks all windows, cold boxes, coolers, hot shelves, and displays in retail accounts efficiently
- Rotates product to maintain quality standards
- Adheres to company guidelines and procedures including swap and drop
- Maintains documentation and submits reports on deliveries, damaged products, returns, and inventory
- Delivers products safely and timely while operating company vehicles and equipment in compliance with safety and DOT regulations
- Conducts pre and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Validates and completes customer order delivery ensuring accuracy
- Collects payments and obtains signatures when necessary
- Provides direction and mentorship to Delivery Assistant
- Communicates effectively with sales teams and management
- Collaborates with sales team to support customer relationship building
