Job Requirements
- Legal required state driver’s license
- Meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
- Ability to maintain daily delivery manifest accurately
- Ability to operate company vehicle safely and defendively
- Ability to communicate professionally with store personnel
- Must adhere to all safety and accident report guidelines
- Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Must be able to meet attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to lift and carry delivery items as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver’s license meeting company driving eligibility requirements
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Clean driving record according to company’s 14/18-point record system
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Fluency in English
- Bilingual skills, especially Spanish fluency, highly desired
Job Duties
- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution center
- Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on set route, deliver to appropriate store
- Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries
- Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure
- Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest
- Report any delays to city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on route
- Communicate problems or special needs from stores to management
- Check vehicle fluid levels and log mileage before operating vehicle
- Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately
- Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure vehicle at end of day
- Drive safely and defensively
- Clock in/out according to company policy
