Job Requirements
- Possess legally required state driver’s license
- Meet company’s driving record standards according to the 14/18-point system
- Ability to drive safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate delivery fleet devices
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as vehicle inspection and stocking
- Willingness to occasionally perform cashier and customer service duties
- Ability to maintain security of vehicle and collected monies
- Adherence to company attendance and clock-in/clock-out policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Familiarity with automotive parts is a plus
- Ability to operate light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections prior to operating
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times
- Pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and core parts while completing driver return slips
- Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages to store manager immediately
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day
- Clock in and out following company policy
- Perform additional duties such as customer service, merchandising, stocking, handling core returns, running errands, and occasionally serving as cashier when business demands
