Job Requirements

  • Possess legally required state driver’s license
  • Meet company’s driving record standards according to the 14/18-point system
  • Ability to drive safely and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to operate delivery fleet devices
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as vehicle inspection and stocking
  • Willingness to occasionally perform cashier and customer service duties
  • Ability to maintain security of vehicle and collected monies
  • Adherence to company attendance and clock-in/clock-out policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
  • Familiarity with automotive parts is a plus
  • Ability to operate light store equipment
  • Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is highly desired

Job Duties

  • Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections prior to operating
  • Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected monies at all times
  • Pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and core parts while completing driver return slips
  • Communicate customer issues or special needs to store management
  • Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages to store manager immediately
  • Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day
  • Clock in and out following company policy
  • Perform additional duties such as customer service, merchandising, stocking, handling core returns, running errands, and occasionally serving as cashier when business demands
