Job Requirements

- Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system
- Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid state driver’s license
- Clean driving record meeting company standards
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- Experience with automotive parts or retail delivery preferred
- Ability to operate light store equipment
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, is desired
Job Duties
- Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
- Use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections
- Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily vehicle inspections prior to operating
- Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and monies collected at all times
- Pick up customer returns including new, warranty, and core products and complete driver return slips
- Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management
- Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager immediately
- Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day
- Clock in and out according to company policy
- Perform additional duties including customer service, merchandising, stocking, running errands, and assisting at the cashier as needed
