Job Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- possession of Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
- 3-6 months commercial driving experience preferred
- knowledge of state laws regarding the sale of alcohol
- ability to handle physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 160 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive pushing/pulling
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- adherence to drug-free workplace policies
- willingness to work Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday schedule
- ability to operate delivery vehicles safely and comply with DOT regulations
Job Qualifications
- Completion of company training program
- in-depth knowledge of company products, policies, procedures, and operations
- knowledge of state laws regarding the sale of alcohol
- grooming and hygiene practices consistent with maintaining good customer relations
- flexibility and adaptability to variable daily routines
- high school degree or equivalent
- 3-6 months commercial driving experience preferred
- prior route sales or delivery experience preferred
- interpersonal skills to deal with customers professionally
- basic math skills to handle transactions and deposits
- ability to understand handheld units and associated software
- possession of Class A CDL and DOT Medical Card
Job Duties
- Adheres to all check-in/check-out policies and procedures
- assumes full responsibility for all products assigned to be delivered daily including safeguards against theft, abuse, or loss
- signs for load sheet and verifies number of pallets
- reviews stop sheets daily and communicates with supervisor regarding missing accounts
- drives truck to deliver all ordered products to daily assigned accounts honoring customer requests authorized by management
- stocks and rotates all existing and delivered products on shelves and back stock
- sets up promotional displays and adds or replaces POS material as directed
- collects empty kegs and out-of-date or damaged products
- collects payments for deliveries, provides invoices, and verifies transactions with customer signatures
- completes daily check-in procedure, deposit reconciliation, and verifies with computer totals
- reports market trends and competitive activity to supervisor and recommends responses
- ensures truck wheels are chocked when backed into docks
- performs daily equipment checks including fluid levels and cab/trailer cleanliness
- operates vehicle according to safety and DOT regulations and reports any accidents immediately
- performs other duties as assigned by management
