Job Requirements
- Ability to lift and move approximately 300-400 pounds on a hand truck/dolly
- ability to break down pallets and move product into stores
- ability to deliver frozen, cold/cooler and ambient products
- ability to work second shift starting 12:30pm to 5pm with shift lengths of 8 to 16 hours
- ability to work weekends and holidays as part of a 24/7 operation
- ability to maintain safety-sensitive work standards
- ability to communicate verbally and visually
- ability to stand, walk, sit, and move frequently during the shift
Job Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience interacting directly with customers preferred
- prior warehouse or dock experience preferred
- prior delivery assistance experience preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- ability to work in multiple temperature zones ranging from -10 to 120 degrees
- regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
- ability to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation including past employment, education and criminal history, and drug screening required
Job Duties
- Assist CDL drivers with store delivery
- candidates must be able to lift/move up to 300lbs with a dolly
- interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers
- read bills of lading and identify product, collect necessary delivery receipts as necessary
- may assist in providing navigational assistance to the driver
