Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- Willingness to travel
- Ability to work required schedule and location
- Completion of employment application
- Successful background investigation including past employment, education, and criminal history
- Successful drug screening
- Ability to maintain constant alertness and safe work practices
Job Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience interacting directly with customers
- Prior warehouse or dock experience preferred
- Prior delivery assistance experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments required
- Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- Ability to work the required schedule and at the specific location required
- Ability to complete Penske employment application and submit to background investigation and drug screening
- Designated as safety sensitive and able to maintain constant alertness and safe work practices
Job Duties
- Assist delivery driver with the loading and unloading of products up to 50lbs and frequently lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance of another individual
- Interact in a professional and courteous manner with customers
- Read bills of lading and identify product, collect necessary delivery receipts as necessary
- Provide navigational assistance to the driver as needed
- Maintain constant alertness and adhere to safety protocols throughout the delivery process
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding delivery status and issues
- Assist in organizing and securing products during transport to prevent damage
