Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • clean driving record with no moving violations in the past three years
  • valid commercial driver license - class A
  • able to drive 18-speed standard transmissions
  • one-year hauling experience preferred
  • able to operate forklift and crane truck
  • must have cooperative communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
  • able to perform physically demanding tasks
  • regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to drive 18-speed standard transmissions
  • one-year relevant hauling experience preferred
  • experience placing heavy loads on a flatbed truck using a forklift
  • experience tying down loads efficiently
  • ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and co-workers
  • ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
  • ability to make independent judgments with moderate impact
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly

Job Duties

  • Load heavy concrete products onto a flatbed truck by forklift
  • hold a valid commercial driver license - class A
  • effectively tie down each load securely
  • operate a crane truck as required
  • transport loads to various job sites and assist contractors with unloading when needed
  • read job tickets and communicate with plant dispatcher via radio
  • perform all duties according to safety and security standards
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
