Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- clean driving record with no moving violations in the past three years
- valid commercial driver license - class A
- able to drive 18-speed standard transmissions
- one-year hauling experience preferred
- able to operate forklift and crane truck
- must have cooperative communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings
- able to perform physically demanding tasks
- regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- ability to drive 18-speed standard transmissions
- one-year relevant hauling experience preferred
- experience placing heavy loads on a flatbed truck using a forklift
- experience tying down loads efficiently
- ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and co-workers
- ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions
- ability to make independent judgments with moderate impact
- ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds regularly
Job Duties
- Load heavy concrete products onto a flatbed truck by forklift
- hold a valid commercial driver license - class A
- effectively tie down each load securely
- operate a crane truck as required
- transport loads to various job sites and assist contractors with unloading when needed
- read job tickets and communicate with plant dispatcher via radio
- perform all duties according to safety and security standards
- perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
