Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or delivery experience preferred
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely
- Familiarity with computer systems and technology such as iPads and Bluetooth devices
- Strong communication skills
- Physical strength to handle loading and unloading automotive glass
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Duties
- Meet the delivery schedule in a timely manner
- Inspect, load, and deliver automotive glass
- Verify customer order is accurate in quantity and quality
- Contact supervisor immediately if an error is made
- Frequently unload, load, and lift automotive glass weighing up to 35 pounds with occasional parts weighing up to 75 pounds
- Report any damaged items to supervisor
- Practice safe driving habits at all times
- Use modern computer systems including iPads and Bluetooth accessories
- Communicate with other departments to ensure customer needs are exceeded
- Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Clean and inspect glass for customer orders
- Package customer orders with protective materials
- Load customer orders into delivery vehicles
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections
