Job Requirements
- Independent contractor status
- Cargo van vehicle suitable for medical specimens and supplies
- Successful completion of background check
- Successful completion of drug screening
- Successful completion of motor vehicle check
- Smartphone for scanning and tracking deliveries
- Availability to work starting at 6:00 am Monday through Sunday
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery or courier services preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with using smartphones and scanning applications
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Knowledge of local routes and the Raleigh area
Job Duties
- Deliver medical specimens and supplies securely and punctually
- Begin deliveries at 6:00 am daily including weekends
- Utilize a smartphone to satisfy customer scanning and tracking requirements
- Adhere to all background checks, drug screens, and motor vehicle inspections mandated by customers
- Manage delivery routes originating from Raleigh, North Carolina
- Maintain communication with dispatch or clients as necessary
- Ensure cargo van is properly maintained and cargo is handled with care
