Job Requirements
- Own reliable transportation that is clean and free of debris
- valid driver’s license and insurance
- minimum of 2 years driving experience for age 18, 1 year for age 19 and older
- ability to stand and move for long periods
- must pass Criminal Background check
- must pass Motor Vehicle Record check
- Texas Certified Food Handler Certificate
- ability to operate routing program and store systems
- physical ability to drive many miles per shift
- commitment to punctuality and proper uniform wear
- ability to handle and secure cash responsibly
- maintain hygiene by frequent hand sanitization
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required
- ability to read, understand, and follow maps
- Texas Certified Food Handler Certificate required
- capable of effective communication with diverse clientele
- demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- able to understand and work with numbers
- ability to follow directions and achieve goals
- able to follow schedules, be punctual, and work swiftly with smart hustle
- can pass Criminal Background and Motor Vehicle Record checks
- prior customer service experience helpful but not required
Job Duties
- Arrive to work on time in complete uniform with a clean vehicle and full tank of gas
- wear lit car top at all times during delivery
- assemble all items in order including extras such as dipping cups and sodas
- route orders using Pulse routing program promptly
- hustle safely between store, vehicle, and customer doors
- transport hot items in proper heat bags and cold items in plastic T bags
- load all orders into a clean and safe vehicle approved for delivery
- drive safely obeying all traffic laws
- avoid making additional stops without permission
- collect money from customers and provide correct change
- collect signatures for card transactions
- keep track of cash and receipts ensuring they balance at shift end
- use drop box to manage cash under $20
- resolve customer complaints, suggestions, and inquiries
- keep driver area stocked, organized, neat, and clean
- assist in maintaining box hutch and stocking areas
- check dining area cleanliness and stock at close
- ensure heat bags are clean and free of damage
- sweep and mop floors regularly, mopping nightly
- wash dishes if no dishwasher is on shift
- assist in cooking and kitchen duties as backup
- assist with phone, counter, or window orders occasionally
- perform general store cleaning
