Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24 foot box truck, including a DOT medical card
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- valid driver’s license
- clean driving record
- willingness to work four 10-hour shifts per week, including occasional overnight routes
- ability to follow safety and DOT regulations
- good communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- must be able to obtain the required licensure/endorsement to drive 20-24 foot box truck, including a DOT medical card (CDL is not required)
- experience driving a 20-24 foot box truck (preferred but not required)
- understanding of how to use a GPS
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move products using a pallet jack and/or forklift
Job Duties
- loading, unloading, and driving a 20-24 foot box truck
- safe and timely delivery to customers with a high level of customer service
- following DOT rules and regulations
- conducting thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- maintaining a clean, professional image of self and vehicle
- assisting with branch warehouse support
