Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years related experience
- Valid US driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to operate flatbed trucks and tow trailers
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting heavy items
- Ability to work long and odd hours
- Strong safety awareness
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide customer support and equipment demonstrations
- Willingness to learn product knowledge
- Ability to travel locally
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record screening
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 3 to 5+ years of related work experience
- Experience towing equipment or machinery is preferred
- Valid US driver’s license with an acceptable driving history
- Physically able to drive long hours including out-of-state travel
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Physical capacity to perform job functions including standing, sitting, bending, squatting, and lifting 50 lbs. or more
- Strong safety awareness
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
- Desire to provide outstanding customer service
- Ability to travel locally as required
Job Duties
- Manage daily and weekly delivery schedule
- Prioritize deliveries and work orders to effectively manage and support customers' materials and equipment needs
- Drive flatbed trucks and/or tow trailered equipment to deliver parts, equipment, and pallets of material to customers within the assigned region
- Transport equipment between various locations or customers and provide light equipment operation demonstrations
- Perform light troubleshooting with mechanical aptitude
- Maintain daily records including driving logs, work orders, customer contacts, parts, equipment, and material orders
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers including government agencies and private contractors
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of Crafco’s equipment and pavement maintenance products
- Perform physical duties including sitting/standing for long periods, hitching/loading/unloading equipment, conducting deliveries, and performing equipment demonstrations
- Provide basic training to customers on equipment operation and material applications
- Contribute ideas and improvements based on customer feedback and field experience
- Complete and submit timely documentation such as customer notes, expense reports, activity logs, vehicle and driver compliance documentation
- Collaborate with sales personnel to support training and product demonstrations as needed
