Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience driving delivery routes preferred
- ability to work early morning hours according to schedule
- physical ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly
- English proficiency
- clean driving record
- willingness to pass background and drug screening
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license
- good driving record
- ability to perform physical labor including lifting and handling bins
- basic math skills for weighing and recording bin weights
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to follow safety procedures and protocols
- English proficiency for communication and safety
Job Duties
- service approximately 150-180 local residential accounts per shift
- deliver compostable goods to office and restaurant customers occasionally
- collect 4-gallon bins containing food waste and leave clean empty bins behind
- maintain cleanliness of customer locations
- perform pre-trip and post-trip safety and vehicle checks
- weigh bins and record weights accurately
- take service notes and maintain a clean vehicle
- return to warehouse to unload van at end of route
