Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- possess a valid driver's license
- have a social security number if applicable
- consistent access to a smartphone
- eligible to work in the United States
- able to pass background check
- capable of lifting and carrying orders safely
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to use smartphone technology proficiently
- good communication skills
- reliable transportation such as car, scooter, or bicycle depending on location
- customer service experience is a plus
- knowledge of local area and traffic patterns advantageous
Job Duties
- Accept delivery requests through the DoorDash app
- pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or other retailers
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- communicate effectively with customers and support team
- manage routes efficiently for timely deliveries
- handle cash or digital payments securely
- maintain the safety and cleanliness of delivery vehicle or mode of transport
