- Have legal authorization to work in the US
- Possess a valid driver’s license or equivalent
- Provide social security number (US only)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Own a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- Successfully complete ID verification
Job Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license or equivalent for delivery mode
- Ability to use a smartphone and the DoorDash Dasher app
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Basic knowledge of local geography or GPS use
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- Deliver orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring a positive delivery experience
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries and payments
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support when necessary
- Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Handle and transport food or retail items responsibly
